Adobe Photoshop Lightroom – v1.1 Update

Photoshop Lightroom took the digital world by storm late last year. An image management software application that’s designed for photographers and BY photographers was unheard of. Adobe, to their credit, listened to everyone who gave their input on how Lightroom should work. This is one cool program and for those of you who are using it, you need to dash over to Adobe’s site and get the update.

This update for Lightroom offers the following improvements (among others)

  • Added functionality and support for Windows Vista
  • A flexible image management system for multi-computer workflows (incorporates folder synchronization)
  • Improved noise reduction and sharpening
  • RAW file support for 13 additional digital cameras Canon, Nikon, Olympus, and Phase One.

The Windows download is about 30 meg; about 25 meg for MAC.

You can grab the Lightroom 1.1 readme PDF to see all the details of the updates and changes. Now if you’ll excuse me, I have a file to grab.
