Some Cool Lightroom Tips

Last night I was catching up on various podcasts in iTunes. There were a couple of real cool video tips from the boys at Lightroom Killer Tips. Matt Kloskowski goes through some good info for all Lightroom users. (On the right side of the website is a link for Lightroom Videos)

The past 3 weeks podcasts are about the Clarity slider, using the Saturation sliders to desaturate and then emphasize one color and a great tip on using Quick Develop. I use Quick Develop to apply my standard corrections to files I import. I have a Preset with Sharpening, Clarity, a tone Curve and some Noise Reduction if it’s a higher ISO. Saves me a lot of time for when I jump to the Develop module.

You really need to go check out the Lightroom Killer Tips website or fire up iTunes and get the podcasts. If you haven’t done so yet, sign up for it. Just do a search in the iTunes store Podcast section for Lightroom and you’ll find it. It’s some of the best info on using Lightroom that’s out there.
