Lightroom 1.2 and Adobe Camera Raw updates

Quick, go run and get the Lightroom 1.2 update at the Adobe website. And if you also use Photoshop CS3 or Elements 5 (or Elements 4.01 MAC) you’ll have to get the Adobe Camera Raw 4.2 Update too. The ACR (and DNG) update will give you full compatibility when moving between Lightroom and your editor.
These two updates add support for a few of the newer cameras, like the Canon EOS 40D, Fuji FinePix IS-1, new Leaf Aptus and Phase One backs, Olympus EVOLT E-510, Panasonic DMC-FZ18, Pentax K100D Super, and the Sony A700. Yay. Don’t you just love it when you buy a new camera and your software has to “catch up” weeks or months later to be able to read your RAW files?
The Lightroom 1.2 update also fixes a number of bugs from version 1.1 and improves noise reduction. A full list of changes is available in a Readme PDF you can download from the same page the update is on.
