Although I still favor Picasa for it’s ease and simplicity, I’ve stumbled across another free photo editing software with lots more capabilities. It’s PhotoPlus 6 from Serif Software. PhotoPlus gives you all the tools you’d expect in a full fledged photo editor. Layers, adjustable brushes, a clone tool, text effects, web tools and much more.
