Oh No. I could break a mirror. I could step on a crack. I might even let a black cat cross my path. I could risk it all and turn off my Firewall and AntiVirus software and surf to lots of questionable websites!!

I just need to take a day to relax. To spend some time away from the computer and actually go out and shoot something. To go walk in the woods and NOT come home with any ticks. To just sit and enjoy the sunset tonight while having a cigar. Yeah, that’s the ticket!

When I started this blog, the TeachMeToShoot website and other online ventures I thought about all the writing (typing) I’d need to do. Through some research I found speech to text software; specifically Dragon NaturallySpeaking 9 Standard. I received it yesterday and it’s a hoot.



After an easy install process I was on my way to talking and typing. The Standard version I bought came with a headset. I like one box solutions. I recited some text on screen, the software scanned through my emails and documents to ‘review’ my writing style, a few clicks later it’s working. I just need to spend some time with the manual and learn all the commands.



My hope is for this tool to help me get more done. Time will tell.
